Larry Susskind

Larry Susskind is Ford Professor of Urban and Environmental Planning at MIT where he is Director of the MIT Science Impact Collaborative.  He is also vice-chair of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School which he helped to found, and Chief Knowledge of the not-for-profit Consensus Building Institute through which he provides mediation services in complex resource management disputes around the world.  He has worked to resolve disputes between Bedouins and the Israeli government over the land claims of the Bedouins in the Negev. He has provided neutral services for the First Nation Tax Advisory Board in Canada and  helped to mediate a range of disputes involving First Nations.
