Juan Pablo Duran Ortiz

Juan is an economist holding a Master of Science in Finance as well as a Master of Science in Urban Studies and Planning from DUSP. He is now an advisor to DRAN on Colombia. Juan Pablo was the Director of the International Bureau of Social and Economic Research (IBSER), and today is part of its Board. Juan has been senior researcher and professor of corporate finance, capital markets, financial risk management, econometrics, and economic theory. He has also worked as adviser in poverty alleviation, violence, and economic development for local governments, and for the National Congress in Colombia.
