Faizan Jawed

Faizan is a doctoral candidate with the International Development Group, MIT. He holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Mumbai, and a Master in City Planning and International Development from MIT. Faizan’s current research engages with the political economy of urban land governance in India, varieties of state-society relationships, and public sector performance. His Masters thesis was on political economy of the Urban Land Ceiling and Regulation Act in Mumbai.
